PULLMAN — The missing Palouse toddler is likely with her father, who is believed to have fled to Mexico.

The Pullman Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are still looking into the disappearance of 2-year-old Seraya Aung Harmon, according to a news release Friday by the department.

She was last seen May 29 with her father, 21-year-old Aaron Aung of Moscow. Seraya was expected to be returned to her mother in Pullman on Monday but never showed, according to the news release.

It was initially believed Aaron Aung had traveled to Montana after being observed purchasing camping gear and a Montana map book.

But the investigation later revealed he likely went to Mexico in a black 2014 Cadillac XTS with an Idaho license plate 1L5147U, according to the news release.

Pullman police issued a warrant for Aung’s arrest Wednesday under suspicion of first-degree custodial interference. Aung has black hair and brown eyes, is 5-foot-9 and weighs approximately 135 pounds, according to the news release.

Aung could possibly be traveling with 21-year-old Nadia Cole, who was reported missing to the Port of Seattle Police Department on May 29. She was last seen leaving the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, according to the news release.
