PULLMAN -- The Pullman Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for the father of the missing Palouse child.

The warrant for 21-year-old Aaron Aung, of Moscow, is in regard to first-degree custodial interference, according to a news release distributed Wednesday by the department. Aung is in violation of a Latah County District Court parenting plan for custody of 2-year-old Seraya Aung Harmon.

Seraya was reported missing Tuesday afternoon after she and Aung did not appear for a custody exchange that day. The two had reportedly gone on a fishing trip to Montana on May 29 and never returned, according to the news release.

Pullman and Moscow police departments are working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to locate Seraya, according to the news release.

Aung could be traveling with former Pullman resident 21-year-old Nadia Cole. Cole was reported missing to the Port of Seattle Police Department on May 28, according to the news release.

Any information about Seraya’s whereabouts may be reported to the Pullman Police Department at (509) 334-0802, or any local law enforcement agency.
