50th: Ken and Marsha Eldred

The Lewiston couple will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. next Sunday at Ernie’s Steakhouse in Lewiston.

Ken Eldred and Marsha Michaelis were married June 6, 1969, at First Presbyterian Church in Clarkston, shortly after Ken returned from serving in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

She retired in 2013 after working for 32 years at various jobs in Lewiston, including for the Lewis-Clark Early Childhood Program.

Since 1982, he has been the owner and operator of K&F Automotive in Lewiston.

Her hobbies include gardening, reading and visiting with friends while he keeps busy drag racing his 1967 Camaro at the Walla Walla Drag Strip. Both like spending time with family.

The couple have one daughter, Molly (Doug) Likkel; one son, John (Sarah) Eldred; and five grandchildren. Their children will be hosts for the reception.
