30th anniversary: Wes and Lora Reeves

The Clarkston couple will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary with an open house for friends and family from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 30 at their home, 2037 11th Ave. They request no gifts, please; rather the joy of your presence.

Wes Reeves and Lora Reed were married Sept. 1, 1979, in Clarkston.

He has worked at Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston for 28 years. She was employed at the Clarkston Police Department for 18 years, The YWCA in Lewiston as a legal advocate for six years and for the Asotin County Sheriff's Office for several years before retiring in 2000.

They are members of Bible study and Christian groups in Clarkston.

They enjoy serving the Lord, volunteering, gardening, four-wheeling, target practice and crafts. His hobbies also include small building projects. Her hobbies also include floral design.

The couple are blessed with a wonderful family, including their son, Daniel, daughter-in-law Sevim, granddaughters Yasemin and Olivia, extended family and many treasured friends.
