The Lewiston couple will celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary with an Open House from 2-5 p.m. today at the Lewiston Masonic Lodge, 1122 18th Ave.
They were married June 13, 1964, at Trinity Luth-eran Church in Lewiston.
Both Dave and Linda are happily retired, enjoying the best of life. They go to Kissimmee, Fla., every year for a month or so to meet up with some friends they have made over the years. They also take short trips to the coast, Reno or wherever their hearts desire.
Dave is an active member, and Past Potentate, of the Masonic Lodge and serves on the Calam Directors Staff. He also served nine years as a Shriners Hospital Board of Directors Trustee. He enjoys and continues to help the Shriners with membership and fundraising.
Linda is still as active as ever in her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. She also participates as much as possible helping the Shriners. She stays very active and busy, running circles around everyone else.
Both enjoy this time of year as camping is one of their favorite activities, taking with them, their pride and joy, Sadie, their Brittany spaniel.
They have two (perfect) children who have given them four grandsons, one granddaughter, three great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter with one great-granddaughter on the way.
They would be delighted to see all their friends and family today so please stop in to join us in celebrating Dave and Linda’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Holly Heath (Todd) and Dan Bundy (Stacie), their daughter and son, will be hosts for the open house.
