COLFAX — The Palouse Empire Fair will be celebrating 75 years this weekend.

The fair held west of Colfax on Washington State Route 26 will begin today and run through Sunday. Gates are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Daily admission is free ages 5 and younger, $5 for youths, $15 for 18 years and up and $10 for anyone older than 55 years.

Carnival rides open at 3 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday-Sunday. Additionally, there will be live music, food, vendors and exhibits.

The PRCA pro rodeo will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday. A local rodeo will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday.
