Gardening class continues Wednesday in Moscow

MOSCOW - The 2018 Home-Owner Garden gardening class series, Drip Irrigation, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the second-floor conference room and garden at the Latah County Annex, 200 S. Almon St., Moscow.

The class is a hands-on drip irrigation installation workshop presented by the University of Idaho, the Moscow Food Co-Op and Backyard Harvest.

GRANGEVILLE - A free car show, part of Border Days festivities, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 5 on Florence Street, across from Grangeville City Park.

Local and out-of-town vehicles are welcome. Sign-in begins at 9 a.m.

The show is being sponsored by the Camas Prairie Cruisers. Anyone wishing more information may contact Annelle Urbahn at (208) 983-2333.

Brochures featuring historic homes available

GRANGEVILLE - Brochures featuring 15 "Turn of the Century" homes in Grangeville are now available. All the homes were built between 1890 and 1910.

Brochures can be picked up from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays at the Bicentennial Museum, at 305 N. College St.; or between 1 and 4 p.m. at the Idaho County Genealogy Resource Office on North Idaho Street, on the same days.
