Two members of the Lewiston Police Department step out from police headquarters in their new light blue uniforms in this Al Munson photo published in the June 7, 1950, Lewiston Tribune. They are desk Sgt. Harry Welker, left, and Patrolman Ed Pierson. According to the photo caption, the new uniforms “will be standard dress for all city officers.
