The Lewiston City Council was offered a contract for a study of plans for a sewage disposal plant. H. Loren Thompson of the Portland engineering firm of Stevens and Thompson said his firm would make a study and submit preliminary plans for $2,100.

All obligations for the 1954-55 school year have been paid by Lewiston's Independent School District 1, with a balance of $37,856.47 left from $910,450 budgeted said Supt. C. L. Booth.
