UPDATED 6:38 P.M.: Moscow police have confirmed that three people are dead and one person is in the hospital as a result of today's shooting spree.

The deceased are Moscow businessman David Trail, 76, Arby's restaurant manager Belinda Niebuhr, 47, and the suspect's adoptive mother and Moscow Family Medicine physicians assistant Terri Grzebielski, 61, according a news release from the Moscow Police Department.

Injured in the assault was Seattle resident Michael Chin, 29. He is listed in critical condition at Gritman Medical Center.

UPDATED 5:40 P.M.: Pullman police have released the name of a man they have in custody who is believed to be the suspect in a shooting spree today in Moscow.

John Lee, 29, who told police he is a Moscow resident, was treated at Whitman Hospital and Medical Center for injuries he received in a crash while allegedly eluding police, according to a news release from the Pullman Police Department.

He was arrested at the scene for felony eluding and will be taken to the Whitman County Jail when cleared at the hospital, according to the news release.

UPDATED 5:19 P.M.: Moscow police have confirmed that four people were shot today at three separate locations.

Police received a call from a male reporting a shooting at 2:31 p.m. today at 303 E. Third St. at Northwest Mutual in Moscow.

Officers found two victims at the scene and both were transported to Gritman Medical Center.

A second shooting was reported at 2:38 p.m. at the Arby's restaurant, 140 Peterson in Moscow, where another victim was found.

The shooter at both scenes was described as an Asian male with a handgun, according to police.

A fourth victim was later discovered at a residence in the 400 block of Veatch Street in Moscow, according to police.

Area police were notified to be on the lookout for the suspect, including a vehicle description of a black Honda. Pullman police spotted and attempted to pull over the suspect vehicle. The vehicle crashed at milepost 47 on U.S. Highway 195. The suspect was taken into custody, according to police.

The names of those involved are not being released at this time, according to police, but a news conference has been scheduled in Moscow at approximately 6 p.m.

UPDATED 4:54 P.M.: Gritman Medical Center spokesman Marty Johncox said the Moscow hospital received two shooting victims and he couldn't  provide additional details at this time.

UPDATED 4:35 P.M.: Pullman Regional Hospital spokeswoman Megan Guido said one male victim from today's shooting was transported to the hospital. He did not survive.

UPDATED: 4:17 P.M.: Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers says there is a person in custody who may have been involved in today's shootings.

The person was apprehended just south of Steptoe at the scene of a traffic accident.

4:04 P.M.: Police in Moscow are reportedly investigating a shooting at the Moscow Arby’s.

Bullet holes can be seen in one of the drive-through windows at the Arby’s and police are at that scene and also at Third and Jefferson streets along with Latah County Prosecuting Attorney Bill Thompson.

There are also reports that Gritman Medical Center is on lock down.
