Eddie Bauer Outlet at Nez Perce Plaza in Lewiston will close for good later this month, according to the store's assistant manager.

The chain clothing store's last day of operations at Lewiston will be June 25, said Mandy Wells, assistant manager, on Thursday afternoon. A "store closing" sign was posted on the business's front door Thursday.

The Lewiston location opened in 2007. Its address is 2634 Nez Perce Drive.

The planned closure of Eddie Bauer Outlet follows the shuttering in recently weeks of two chain restaurants in the same general area of Lewiston. Shari's and Red Lobster both abruptly closed their operations in May.
