Grangeville's Seth Park and Pullman's Yara Nouisser claimed the individual victories in the Seaport Invitational high school cross country meet Saturday at Clarkston's Beachview Park.
West Valley of Spokane won both team titles, convincingly on the boys' side while edging Moscow by one point in the girls' segment.
Park covered the 2.96-mile course in a time of 15 minutes, 59 seconds, four seconds ahead of the second-place finisher, Asotin's Brett Fowler. West Valley runners claimed the next four positions.
Nouisser posted a time of 19:22, five seconds in front of West Valley's Larson Agee. Moscow's Mollie Lee-Painter, at 19:50, was the only other girls' competitor to break 20 minutes.
