Numerical nuggets from the Czar of Series Statistics:
l In the Oklahoma City's 10-2 win over Spring Arbor Saturday, the two teams combined to turn six double plays. That tied a Series record, accomplished five other times.
l Union advanced to Monday's play with a 9-8 victory over Azusa. Even though the Bulldogs have the second most losses in the tournament - 16 - the Bulldogs are the only team in this year's field that has not lost back-to-back games in 2008.
l With Lewis-Clark State's 19-0 shutout of Embry-Riddle Friday, there has been at least one shutout in 45 of the 52 tournaments. It was the first shutout Embry-Riddle has suffered this year.
l Jamestown College is now 0-4 in two appearances. There are now five teams in Series history that have appeared more than once, and not come away with any victories. Hawaii-Hilo has the most losses without a win, six.
l When Lewis-Clark State meets Oklahoma City Monday, it will be the teams' 10th Series encounter. L-C holds a 6-3 edge, but Oklahoma won the last time they met, 11-10 in 2005.
