The current record between Series crowns is 26, held by Lubbock Christian. The Chaparrals won the title on their home field in Texas in 1983, and in 2009, 26 years later, claimed their second, and last, title in Lewiston.

Indiana Wesleyan jumped out to a 10-0 lead over Georgia Gwinnett on Monday only to see the Grizzlies pull back within one run. The Wildcats eventually held on to win the game 11-10. The largest deficit a Series team has overcome is eight runs. Three times in the history of the tournament teams have been behind by a score of 8-0, and came back to win the game. The most recent was in 2003, when Bellevue trailed Biola by eight in the bottom of the eighth, and scored 11 unanswered runs. The Bruins won the game on a walk-off grand slam.

Southeastern pitchers combined to strike out 18 Lewis-Clark State batters Saturday, falling just short of the record for a nine-inning game. In 1961, East Carolina struck out 19 Grambling batters. The record for total strikeouts by one team is 24, which happened in a 14-inning game in 1965. Carson Newman set the record when it defeated Wisconsin-Whitewater 4-3 in a game halted by the time limit after midnight, and resumed at 9 a.m. the following day.
