Caryss Barger of Grangeville eyes the basket during the North Central Idaho District Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot on Saturday at Clarkston’s Lincoln Middle School. Barger made 18 of 25 shots to win the 8-9-year-old girls’ division and advance to Saturday’s state competition at Grangeville. Results from the district Hoop Shoot will appear in the Tribune’s Community Sports Report on Tuesday.
