Orofino-Pierce prevails in Camas Prairie Trapshoot

The Orofino-Pierce team pulled out the overall victory as the Camas Prairie Trapshoot concluded with a 10th round of competition last weekend.

Orofino-Pierce had traded leads in a neck-and-neck race with Yakima Valley over the last nine weeks, regaining the edge in recent rounds before finishing out with a winning margin of just over a point-and-a-half at 746-744.5. Wallace Kellogg (742) and Colton (741.25) also came in less than five points behind.

At the junior level, Orofino-Pierce triumphed more dominantly with a 10-week total of 717 points to Hermiston’s 708.
