NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Reece Carman collected 14 kills in her first action of the season and Idaho twice rebounded from deficits in the set count Saturday to beat Cal State-Northridge in the Pepperdine/CSUN Challenge volleyball tournament.

The scores were 24-26, 25-20, 21-25, 25-19, 15-10.

Kaela Straw and DeVonne Ryter tallied 10 kills apiece for the Vandals (3-2), and Aeryn Owens had 15 for the Matadors (2-3).

Alycia Wodke registered 25 digs for Idaho, and Haylee Mathis doled out 34 assists.

Cougs beat Northern Iowa, stay unbeaten

Cedar Falls, Iowa - Washington State defeated Northern Iowa 25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 25-23 to improve to 4-0.

The Cougars were led in kills by Taylor Mims, who had 26, and Claire Martin with 10. WSU's Ashley Brown led the Cougars in assists with 44 while Alexis Dirige had 23 digs. Penny Tusa added 11 digs.
