Sherree LaRee (Weaver) Fisher

March 8, 1960 - March 29, 2018

Sherree LaRee (Weaver) Fisher, 58, of Asotin, passed away in her childhood home Thursday, March 29, 2018, surrounded by family and close friends. She fought a brave four-year battle with cancer and can now rest in the everlasting arms of Jesus.

Sherree was born March 8, 1960, in Enterprise, Ore. She loved roping, horses, dancing, water skiing and camping. One of Sherree's many talents was her beadwork. As a kid, she enjoyed spending her summers at the Kiesecker ranch.

She loved to capture memorable events through her photographs. She had a zest for life and a passion for her family. She was a cherished and devoted wife, mother, daughter, aunt and friend to all.

Everyone who knew Sherree knew she was a cowgirl in her heart and soul. She loved spending her time at rodeos, or at home with her horses, while sporting her personally hand-beaded Western wear.

Sherree had an energy and a presence that will not be forgotten. Even in her final months, she battled through her pain to share in events with her family and friends, or whip up one of her fabulous meals (or secret sauces), all while wearing a smile.

Sherree is survived by her husband, Stephen "Steve;" son Kade; daughters Alexa "Lexi," Shawna and Stephanie; her parents, Charlie (Sue) and Sandi; siblings Debbie (Craig), Brent (Lillian) and Ron; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Cody; nephew Carson; grandparents Lester and Frances "Frankie;" and uncles Calvin and Jerry.

She was fierce, talented, witty and loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed, but we rejoice in her peace.

Memorial service will be held at noon on April 12 at CrossPoint Alliance Church at 1330 Powers Ave., in Lewiston. All are welcome to bring a dish to share and to join in with stories and laughter as we honor Sherree's love of cooking and the many blessings she brought to each of our lives.
