Robert J. (Jack) Ross, 76, passed away March 21, 2012, at his home in Lewiston. He was born Sept. 26, 1935, in Princeton to B. Lillian (Rice) and George M. Ross.
Jack married Cheryl L. Morasch Aug. 12, 1961, at Spokane.
In the 1950s, he worked as a journeyman lineman for Moffit and Britton and in the late 1950s he became an electrician. In the early 1970s he became an owner/operator of Vern's Electric until his retirement.
Jack was a member of Nez Perce Lodge No. 10 of the Freemasons, Scottish Rite Masons and Calam Shriners. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge, as well as the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. Jack served in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl, at their home; a son, Kirk M. Ross of Lewiston; a daughter, Jolene Ross of Rathdrum, Idaho; a granddaughter, K'Lee L. Ross; a grandson, Luke E. Ross, both of Lewiston; and a sister, Ellen Bramlet and her husband John, of Lewiston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond Neil Ross.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27 at Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home, with a reception to follow at the Masonic Lodge at 1122 18th Ave, Lewiston.
