ObituariesApril 20, 2024

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our delightful and beloved Pamela Jeannette Murphey who crossed into the horizon on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Pammy was born on July 19, 1964. She grew up and lived in the Kooskia area most of her life. Although facing many physical health challenges during life, Pammy always maintained a chipper attitude, had a carefree spirit and a keen sense of humor.

Pammy had a dear and deep love of her large, extended family including her stepdad Ray Winterowd; her dear sisters Kim Moors, Karen Holman, Susan Holman and Jami Brocke; her loving brothers Pat Murphey, Bill Holman and Matt Murphey; plus many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Pammy thoroughly enjoyed keeping in touch with them via phone calls and sending letters along with bright and cheerfully colored pictures. She had a great long-term memory and would frequently share details, events and humorous things that happened years ago.

Pammy’s very favorite activities included shopping at Walmart, going for peppermint lattes and hamburgers. Pammy adored jewelry and collected as many rings, bracelets and necklaces as she could; wearing a ring on every finger. When asked what her favorite type of jewelry was, she would reply, “Gold.”

Pammy’s dear and innocent personality will be missed here on Earth, yet her delightful spirit will carry on forever.
