Norman James Olson, 49, of Orofino, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, after a short battle with lung cancer.
He was born Oct. 1 1962, at Grangeville, to Robert and Anita Olson. Norman attended Orofino schools and was a logger, truck driver, construction worker and guardrail worker in Oregon.
He was a quite a jokester and much loved by all his friends. No one was ever a stranger for long.
Norman is survived by his mother, Anita Olson of Orofino; brother Bill and Nadine Olson; sister Shirley Akerstrom; daughter Tawnya Brink; and two nephews, Robert and William Akerstrom.
A memorial covered dish dinner will be conducted at 1 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars building. All are welcome.
