Nancy G. (Linden) Knoll, 80, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Clarkston Health and Rehab of Cascadia.

Nancy was born Sept. 12, 1943, to Lincoln and Viola (LaPointe) Linden in Spokane, where they lived until 1947, when they moved to Priest River, Idaho. Nancy attended all her schooling in Priest River graduating in 1961. She had fond memories of spending time at her family’s cabin on Priest Lake and her time working as a lifeguard. She also enjoyed spending time with her older sister Barbara.

Nancy moved to Lewiston to attend Lewis-Clark State College in 1962, where she met the love of her life, Allen Knoll. They married on June 19, 1964, in Clarkston, where they spent 33 years together until Allen’s death in 1997. They had two sons, Steve and Chris, and together as a family they enjoyed camping and fishing every summer.

Early on, Nancy was a waitress at several local restaurants until she became a school bus driver for the Clarkston School District. Nancy loved driving school bus, especially spending the time getting to know all the students she shuttled for over 23 years.

Allen and Nancy were very social whether drinking coffee with friends, playing in pool leagues or dart leagues. They were active members of the Clarkston Moose Lodge and the Clarkston Eagles Auxiliary.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her sons and their families as well as all her extended family including several beloved nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sons Steve (Daelynn), Chris (Lisa) and four grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Adelyn and Kyler as well as two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Stanton Walker at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at New Ground Alliance Church, 817 Libby St., Clarkston.
