Michael A. Morey Sr., of Kendrick, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family by his side.

Michael was born July 15, 1944, to Kathlyn (Kent) Morey and Walton (Newt) Morey in Moscow. As a child, Mike grew up on Big Bear Ridge with his mother and father until the passing of his father in 1956. Later in his childhood, he moved to Kendrick where he later attended and graduated from Kendrick High School. Growing up, Mike had a love for fast cars, outdoor activities and his local FFA chapter that he helped to charter. After receiving his high school diploma he worked many different agriculture and construction jobs to later land and retire after 35 years of truck driving. His career helped him build a love for Mack Trucks and his employer, George F. Brocke and Sons.
