A memorial service for Eve Rockwell Little, a Clarkston artist, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Merchant Funeral Home in Clarkston. The Rev. J. Stanley Lyman will officiate.

She died of causes related to age Thursday at her Clarkston home. She was 83.

She was born June 10, 1908, at Redlands, Calif., to Willis Montford and Ella Lyne Plummer Rockwell.

Her childhood was spent in Seattle. As a young child she was an accomplished pianist, performing under the name Evelyn Plummer.

She performed several concerts before she was 10 years old, but her musical career was interrupted by a long illness. She lost interest in playing the piano and became an artist.
