On Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, Louise M. Nuttman, our beloved mother, grandmother, significant other and friend, died at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center after a brief illness, with her family by her side. Louise was 89 years of age, being born on March 29, 1924, to Joseph and Mary (Kraemer) VonTersch on the family farm near Ferdinand, where she grew up and attended school, graduating in 1942.

Louise married Bernard R. Nuttman on June 22, 1943, and they were blessed with six daughters. They moved around to various places and finally settled in Lewiston. They were later divorced. Her longtime companion of 43 years is Clinton J. Wilson.

She enjoyed baking, canning, camping, socializing, watching the Mariners, solving crossword puzzles, playing cribbage and electronic poker and solitaire games. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by her significant other, Clinton J. Wilson; and her five daughters, Kathleen and Don Sandefur of Port Orchard, Wash., Joan Nelson of Lewiston, Jean and Denny Morton of Myrtle, Karen and Jim Vangen of Kennewick, Donna Allen of Lewiston; and son-in-law Frank Dillon of Lewiston. She is survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Jordan VonTersch, Cletus VonTersch, Rose Prier, Jean Castle, Betty Wilks, Marlene Benson, Eileen Jefferys and Diane Thompson; as well as Clinton's children, Dan and Diane Wilson, Gloria Marshall, Arlene and John Barton, Maria and Terry Van Pelt, and their half-sister, Debbie and Sam Ketchum.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
