Kathleen Mary Kirkpatrick, age 70, entered into rest on July 5, 2014, in Pullman. A native of New Orleans, Miss Kirkpatrick attended Catholic schools in the Irish Channel section of New Orleans and later graduated from Soule Business College. She was employed over the years as a secretary, and culminated her career as an assistant in the Lafourche Parish Public Library in Raceland, La.
Miss Kirkpatrick moved to the Palouse in 2011 to be near family and resided at Whitman Senior Living in Pullman since December 2011, where she had many friends. A social butterfly, she loved people, field trips and bingo. The last days of her life were spent comfortably in the tender care of staff at Avalon Care Center and Hospice of
Pullman.
Kathleen is survived by a sister, Muriel Hebert (Bill) of Moscow; three nieces, Ashleigh Bright (Jerry), Tara Oar (Patrick) and Kelsey Hebert; and two great-nieces, Nola Bright and Alice Oar. Interment took place at Moscow Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Whitman Senior Living, 1285 S.W. Center St.,
Pullman.
