Janice Osborne passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at Good Samaritan Village in Moscow. She was 81 years old.
Janice was born to Otto and Minnie (Winchell) Biel on March 18, 1934, in Roberts County, S.D. She was the youngest of five children born to the couple. Janice attended school in Browns Valley, Minn., and she moved to Lewiston in 1956. There she met Vance Osborne, and the couple married April 5, 1958, in Lewiston. Janice and Vance moved to Troy in 1965, where the couple made their home for many years. They had one son, Jesse. Janice loved her hummingbirds and her rose garden.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Arnold, Glen and Otis; and one grandchild, Daniel; as well as her husband, Vance.
She is survived by her sister, Josie; son Jesse; three grandchildren, Kyle, Anali and Sam; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 at Mendenhall Cemetery at Onaway. A reception will follow at the Rebekah Hall in Potlatch. The family requests that any donations be made to the Troy Ambulance Fund.
