Irmal McDonald passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Life Care Center of Lewiston.
She was born in Asotin County Dec. 31, 1919, to Sherman and Ida Oylear. She attended first through ninth grades at Asotin schools. She then attended high school in Lewiston, after which she attended the old Lewiston Normal School, now Lewis-Clark State College. She worked for 43 years at a photo studio.
She married James H. McDonald in 1944. Irmal loved traveling and animals. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the L Cube Girls' Club at LHS.
She is survived by two brothers, Ken Oylear of Monroe, Wash., and Dallas Oylear at Corona, Calif.; and her husband, James H. McDonald.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
