Edith Bowen was born July 6, 1930, to David and Jessie Niman of Orofino, and she passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010, in Spokane Valley.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Erhart and Richard Sundstrom of Spokane, and Dorothy Stewart of Kamiah, as well as multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She retired from Blount Industries, now ATK. She loved gardening and other outdoor activities.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1123 16th Ave., in Clarkston, with a family gathering to follow. Inurnment will follow at 4 p.m. at Weseman Cemetery in Orofino. Arrangements are with Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home in Spokane; www.hazenjaegervalley.com.
She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, she respectfully requests donations to any hospice organization.
