Cody Earl Johnson, 28, was born to Jeff and Sherree (Weaver) Johnson in Lewiston, July 16, 1983. He went to heaven June 3, 2012, in Dryden, Wash.
Cody brought joy to everyone who looked into his incredible blue eyes for the first time. He had an infectious laugh and ornery twinkle in his eye and a smile that could melt your heart. Cody loved music, playing the guitar, fishing, the outdoors, sports, cooking and his family. He always had a firm handshake and a quick wit.
Cody leaves behind his parents, Sherree and Steve Fisher of Asotin, and Jeff and Patti Johnson of Wenatchee; siblings Shawna, Stephanie, Kade and Alexa Fisher; grandparents Charles and Sue Weaver, Sandra Weaver, Dorn Hamblin, Ron and Sue Fisher, and Bob and Gayle Knutson; great-grandparents Lester and Clarice Kiesecker; aunts and uncles Debbie (Craig) Brown, Brent (Lillian) Weaver, Ron (Connie) Weaver, Doug (Nancy) Johnson, Steve (Candy) Johnson, Tim (Peggy) Fisher, Gary Fisher, Cary (Deidra) Fisher, Brenda (Kyle) Mussman, and Lyle Knutson; cousins who loved him like a sibling, Justin (Kezia) Brown and daughters Lindsie (Joe) Canales and daughters Melissa (Derek) Schab and sons Ryan (Cody's spitting image) (Mary) Brown and sons Alisha Weaver, Breanna Weaver, Jason, Stephanie, Matthew and Angela Johnson; plus many more loving cousins who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Mildred Johnson and Anita Hamblin; niece Laynee McFarland; and cousin Carson Weaver.
We take comfort in knowing that Cody is safe and at peace in the arms of God. His was a life taken from us too soon. He was loved and he will be missed always! A private family service is set for next Saturday. Thank you for your prayers!
