Brent Sutton, 51, of Moscow, passed away on Dec. 27, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Omaha, Neb., June 12, 1971, to Linda Edwards and Willie Lee Sutton, he spent his childhood with his brother, William, and many friends. He moved to Idaho in 1996 and welcomed his first child, Riley Delshaun Sutton, in 1997. In 2000, he met the love of his life, Julie Schnider, while also welcoming a daughter, Kaitlyn, whom he would raise as his own.

Brent enjoyed various hobbies, including camping, fishing, stargazing, playing pool and going on drives, and he had a passion for music and art. Later in life he connected with many of his brothers and sisters on his dad’s side, including Denite Sutton, in Pennsylvania.

Brent will be loved and missed by so many. He is survived by his wife Julie, mom Linda, and stepdad Chester French, of Omaha; son Riley; daughter Kaitlyn; granddaughters, Lexa and Opal; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many bonus family members.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Mountain View Park, 2052 W. Mountain View Road, in Moscow, for anyone who would like to join.
