Born to John and Esther Wigen on July 24, 1928, Bev left this world for eternity Friday, April 19, 2024, at the age of 95.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Hyde; her daughters: Judi Gravdal, Kathryn Gravdal, Naomi Gravdal, Janet Gravdal and Lori Gravdal Morris; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Phil and Les and her sister Jan along with many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and her older brother, Richard.
Bev will be remembered as a maker of homes, a superb hostess, a traveler and adventurer, a good friend, an artist, an interior designer, a visualizer, a horse lover, a jam maker and a crossword puzzler. She was a person of great generosity and a beloved MorMor. Bev was a life-long learner with degrees in English, education, and a Ph.D. in counseling psychology. She was, also, a woman of faith and hope. “For all that has been, Thanks. For all that is to be, Yes!!”
She is undoubtedly running through the wheat fields of heaven eating and sharing chocolate and talking to strangers.
And now, Bev, you are the angel watching over us.
