Betty June Sinclair, 76, of Clarkston, passed away March 9, 2013, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born June 22, 1936, to Alonzo and Alla Rogers in Texarkana, Ark.
Betty married Esquplia (Bing) Montoya in 1953. He passed away in 1972. She married Alton Duane Sinclair in 1988. He passed away in June 2011.
She is survived by her sons, David Montoya of Benton City, Wash., and Dennis (Colleen) Montoya of Clarkston; daughter Debra Montoya of Oldtown, Idaho; granddaughter Joni (Jay) Powell of Troy; grandson Thomas Montoya of Boise; great-grandsons Nichlos Powell, David Powell, and Joe Powell, all of Troy, and James Stoffer of Lewiston; sisters Helen Rogers and Bonnie Rogers, both of Clarkston; and her dog, Buddy. She was preceded in death by both husbands, and brothers Alonzo Rogers, Buddy Rogers and Doug Rogers.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Merchant Funeral Home in Clarkston. A gathering will follow at 1433 Highland Ave. in Clarkston. Chaplain Laine Julian of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center will officiate the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Lewis-Clark Animal Shelter.
