BUCKLEY, Wash. - Washington Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn has been booked into the Buckley Jail in Pierce County to serve his one-day sentence for drunken driving, a television station reported Monday evening.

Dorn, 56, pleaded guilty in Orting Municipal Court, where Judge John Curry sentenced him to 365 days in jail, but suspended all but one day of the sentence.

Dorn was arrested March 21 about 15 miles from his Eatonville home while driving home from a crab feed and dance.
