ENTERPRISE, Ore. -- The second annual Wallowa Valley Barn Tour and Rural Life Celebration starts Friday at 6:30 p.m. with a program of slides, information and story sharing about historic barns and antique tractors. The program will be held at the Cloverleaf Hall here.

Registration for the self-drive barn tour will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the gazebo at the Wallowa County Courthouse. A tour map and information package may be purchased for $5.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, there will be a variety of events including an antique tractor exhibition, arts and crafts exhibits and an open house at the Hurricane Creek Grange in Joseph, Ore.

A family barbecue will start at 5 p.m. at the Wallowa County Fairgrounds, followed by a family barnyard dance from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Vencill's Whitetail Farm in Joseph.

On Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be several self-drive guided tours of barns, historic homesteads and school sites in Wallowa County.
