The Quad Cities Drug Task Force arrested two individuals after a search warrant led to the alleged discovery of 1,350 fentanyl pills.
The task force, along with Clarkston and Lewiston police departments and Lewiston’s Regional SWAT Team, invoked a search warrant Thursday morning at a residence in the 900 block of Riverview Boulevard in Clarkston. Detectives found the fentanyl pills, approximately two grams of fentanyl powder, methamphetamine, clonidine pills, drug paraphernalia and packaging material, according to a news release from the Quad Cities Drug Task Force.
Detectives then filed felony charges against Alisha K. Bellavance, 41, of Clarkston, for alleged possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Kyle L. Rudfelt, 37, of Lewiston, was also arrested on a warrant out of Nez Perce County. He also could face charges for destruction of evidence for his alleged actions as the search warrant was being invoked, according to the news release.
The search warrant was part of an investigation that began in 2022, according to the news release.
The Quad Cities Drug Task Force is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance to combat narcotics in southeastern and western Idaho.
