NAMPA - Residents in a southwest Idaho neighborhood are organizing a neighborhood watch group following the shooting of two pets.

A pit bull named Tank died Aug. 16, and a cat was injured by similar gunfire three months earlier but survived.

Chris Maxson, the owner of the cat, said someone is shooting at the animals with a .22-caliber weapon.
