MOSCOW — Shari’s Cafe and Pies in Moscow permanently closed this week after 16 years on the Palouse.
Its last day of business was Monday. A sign on the restaurant’s window read “To our Moscow guests, thank you for helping support many years of service in this location. Unfortunately, this location is permanently closed.”
This follows a string of Shari’s closures around the region, including the Lewiston location. Shari’s is part of a chain of family dining restaurants in the western U.S. based in Beaverton, Ore.
Shari’s was founded in 1978 and was the largest family-style brand in the Pacific Northwest, according to the restaurant’s website.
