Although updated results from Asotin County elections were released Thursday, none of the outcomes changed.

For Tuesday’s election, 34% of registered voters in the county cast ballots in contested races for Clarkston School Board, Asotin mayor and a tax levy for emergency medical services.

Those contested races include:

Clarkston School District director position No. 1: Dan Randles had 2,025 votes compared to Rick Hanks’ 1,900. Randles won with 52% to Hanks’ 48%.

Clarkston School District director position No. 5: Chris Bunce received 2,734 votes to take 70% of the vote over Todd Snarr’s 30% with 1,171 ballots.

Asotin mayor: Dwayne Paris won with 243 votes to 108 for Theresa Bailey. Paris won with 69% of the vote.

Emergency Medical Services tax levy: Votes in favor 729 to votes against at 342. The levy passes with 68% of the vote.

The official results will be certified Nov. 28.
