Steven Pennington returns to Palouse practice after three-year mission

PULLMAN — The Pullman Regional Hospital and Inland Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Clinic have welcomed Steven Pennington to the team.

The hospital announced in a news release Monday the provider who’s served the Palouse since 1997 has returned from a three-year mission in Argentina with his wife, leading a group of 150 to 200 missionaries.

The news release said Pennington is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with additional certification in sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He’s provided care for 21 years as a team physician for University of Idaho Vandal athletics.

The news release said he specializes in joint replacements, particularly partial knee replacements and anterior hips. Pennington is also interested in hand surgeries and carpal tunnel treatment.

Those wanting to schedule a visit with Pennington can make an appointment through a referral to Inland Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Clinic. The news release said the medical office has locations in Pullman and Moscow.
