Prop 1 will be subject at Nez Perce County Republican Women’s Club meeting

Idaho’s Open Primaries Initiative will be the subject of a gathering of the Nez Perce County Republican Women’s Club at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Lewiston Community Center.

The speaker will be Bill Gaffney from Secure Idaho Elections. The meeting will start with a presentation, then followed by a question-and-answer session.

The event is free and open to the public.

Proposition 1, which would open primary voting to all and introduce ranked choice voting in Idaho, will be on the Nov. 5 ballot.
