The second phase of a roadwork project on 21st Street in Lewiston will get started in late May, according to information distributed by the city of Lewiston.

The work is being done by VSS International, which is based in California and Arizona. The work, which started in the fall, is being done between Seventh Avenue and Nez Perce Grade on 21st Street.

The final phase of the project is expected to start May 28, and will feature double lane closures and intermittent closures of driveways and intersections.

Fiberseal work is planned to start June 2, and will be conducted between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. There will be double lane closures, limited driveway access and intersection closures.

The last bit of work will be pavement marking and striping, which will begin June 10. There will be single lane closures, intermittent driveway access and intersection closures.
