One dead, one injured in Princeton house fire Saturday night

PRINCETON – One person died and another was injured in a Saturday night house fire at Princeton, according to Capt. Shane Anderson of the Latah County Sheriff’s Office.

Firefighters were called at about 9:18 p.m. and the structure on McKinneyville Road was fully engulfed when they arrived.

Anderson said the deceased person has not yet been identified. The injured person was flown by helicopter ambulance to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at Lewiston and has since been released.

The Idaho State Fire Marshal and the sheriff's office are investigating the incident.
