A final draft of the Pullman-Moscow Corridor development plan has been prepared and will be the subject of a public hearing by Whitman County's planning commission this week. The plan prohibits hospitals in the corridor, ending discussion of combining Pullman Memorial and Gritman Memorial hospitals into one facility in the corridor.

INDIANAPOLIS - Ryan White, the Indiana teenager who contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion and who put the face of a child on the disease, died at age 18.

A barbershop quartet composed of Lewiston-area residents will be among the featured acts at the Barbershop Jubilee in Spokane. The Humble Four is made up of Bruce Sweeney of Lewiston, tenor; Robert D. Corlis of Clarkston, lead; James N. Soyk of Spalding, baritone; and Gerald S. Hovland of Clarkston, bass.
