MOSCOW - Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to arrests and convictions in a robbery of a Moscow Stinker Station.

The investigation of the weekend incident continued on Sunday as police prepared to examine footage from surveillance cameras at the store at 1044 W. Pullman Road.

Anyone who was in that neighborhood between about 3:30 and 4:30 a.m. on Saturday may have seen something that might help police, David Duke, Moscow's police chief, said.

Police were summoned to the store at 3:54 a.m. on Saturday after two men allegedly entered the store, brandished black, semi-automatic pistols and demanded money from the till.

One of them apparently pointed a gun at two customers and had them put their cellphones on the counter, Duke said. The other allegedly pointed a gun at a store clerk who put cash into a brown paper bag, Duke said.

About one minute later, the two men allegedly left the store with about $60 in cash and a carton of Marlboro cigarettes valued at $49, Duke said.

Police are seeking two men in connection with the incident. Both are thin and between about 5 foot, 7 inches and 5 foot, 11 inches tall. They were last seen wearing dark clothing, including black masks with smiley faces where the openings for the eyes and mouths were trimmed in white, Duke said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call (208) 882-COPS.
