Millicent H. (Millie) Huntley passed away Sunday, July 28, 2002, at the Idaho County Nursing Home in Grangeville at the age of 96 from age-related causes.

Millie grew up along the Russian River, north of San Francisco and at Sebastopol, Calif. In Sebastopol, she worked as a telephone operator.
On Jan. 14, 1926, she married Martin (Pat) Huntley. Their son, Dick was born in Sebastopol and daughter, June was born in Petaluma. In 1930, they purchased a ranch south of Craigmont near the breaks of the Salmon River.
Her husband died May 25, 1974, and she maintained her home with her son until moving to the nursing home in 2000.
Millie is survived by her son, Richard Huntley at the Craigmont home; five grandchildren, David and Diane Mager of Kamiah, Rich and Beth Mager of Grangeville, Scott and Karen Mager of Elk, Wash., Jeff and Becky Mager of White Bird and Patty and Bill Settle of Caldwell.
