A Lewiston man was sentenced to more than 10 years in federal prison for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
Ricky D. Faulkner, 57, was arrested as Quad Cities Drug Task Force officers executed a search warrant at his residence and seized more than one pound of methamphetamine, cash and a handgun. Data on Faulkner’s cellphone showed that he was distributing methamphetamine to people in Lewiston and Clarkston, according to a news release from the Department of Justice.
Faulkner was sentenced Wednesday by Senior 9th Circuit Judge Richard Tallman, sitting as a U.S. District Court judge, who ordered Faulkner to serve 121 months and five years of supervision following his prison sentence. Faulkner pleaded guilty to the charge April 8.
U.S. attorney Josh Hurwit commended the cooperative efforts between the FBI; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force; Quad Cities Drug Task Force; and the Nez Perce County Prosecutor’s Office.
