DEVELOPMENT PERMIT Notice is hereby given that the City of Asotin has filed an application for a Substantial Development Permit for construction or development of Chief Looking Glass Park. Improvements include: replacement of a boat ramp, repair the float, and resurface the parking area. Project site is located in Section 16, Township 10N, Range 46E in Asotin County.

Any person desiring to express their views or to be notified of the action taken on this application should notify the Asotin County Engineer, P.O. Box 160, Asotin, Washington 99402, in writing of their interest within thirty days of the last date of publication of this notice.

NOTICE OF

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of Asotin County, WA have fixed Monday, April 9, 1990 at 9:30 a.m. at the Commissioners Chambers, Courthouse, Asotin, WA as the time and place for hearing on an Ordinance Licensing and Regulating Business Within The Unincorporated Limits of Asotin County. Copies of the proposed Ordinance in its entirety may be obtained at the Asotin County Commissioners Office.

The Proposed Ordinance provides:

Section 1. Purpose: To regulate all wholesale and retail businesses within the unincorporated limits of Asotin County.

Section 2. License: Any business within the unincorporated limits of Asotin County selling wholesale or retail must obtain a business license.

Section 3. Exceptions: Any non-profit business; any farmer selling raw and unprocessed products produced upon own land; limited private garage sales.

Section 4. Application Requirements: Written application shall identify applicant, type of business, and disclose any criminal history.

Section 5. Application Posting Hearing: Applications posted at County Courthouse ten (10) days prior to granting of license. Written objections to the issuance of said license may be made during this time. Issuance may be refused for cause. Waiting period waived for businesses established for 60 continuous days prior to effective date of Ordinance.

Section 6. Fee: Fee is set at $15.00 per calendar year.

Section 7. Renewal Fee: Renewal fee paid prior to January 31 is $15.00; afer January 31, $25.00.

Section 8. Revocation: Falsified application, felony conviction after issuance of license, violation of any state or county law shall be grounds for revocation with appeal to the Superior Court.

Section 9. Failure to Comply: Violation subject to license suspension or revocation and a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars.

Section 10. Effective Date: Ordinance shall become effective five days after passage.

Any interested person may appear at the time stated and be heard on matters relating to this proposed Ordinance.

Said development is proposed to be within Snake River and/or its associated wetlands.

Any person desiring to express their views or to be notified of the action taken on this application should notify the Asotin County Engineer, Box 61, Asotin, WA 99402, in writing of their interest within thirty days of the last date of publication of this notice. Publication dates are March 29 and April 5, 1990.
