GRANGEVILLE — A 58-year-old Moscow man was arrested in Idaho County on Saturday for felony possession of methamphetamine.

Mark Larsen was taken into custody after an Idaho County deputy stopped him at 1:12 a.m. Saturday for a traffic violation. While a deputy ran a check on Larsen, drug-detecting dog K9 Millie and her handler performed a perimeter check of the vehicle. K9 Millie alerted to the presence of drugs and Larsen was arrested. He also is charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

Larsen was taken to the Idaho County Jail.
