Robert L. Howser of Lewiston was inducted recently as president of the Lewiston Downtown Rotary Club while W. Dean Jurgens of Lewiston was named Rotarian of the Year.

Howser is a former college administrator and is currently a private investor and Jurgens owns Jurgens and Co. finance and accounting firm at Lewiston.

Also, John Skelton of Lewiston was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Pin.

Also inducted by District Governor William Mitchell-Banks at the group's July 17 meeting are Jurgens as treasurer and secretary Marcia Banta of Lewiston, who works as a business agent for the Idaho Education Association.

Board members inducted include Gary Edwards of Lewiston, who works at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare; Don Brigham of Clarkston, a landscape architect; Glen Morgan of Lewiston, superintendent of Lewiston School District; JoAnn Thompson of Lewiston, who is director of human resources for Blount, Inc. at Lewiston; Kirk Stedman of Lewiston, who works at Inland Auto Glass at Lewiston; Pat Nuxoll of Lewiston, who is employed by Presnell, Gage & Co. at Lewiston; and Doyle Jones of Lewiston, who is manger of Albertson's Food Center at Lewiston.
